The Rudy Rubini Order Sons of Italy in America, Cristoforo Colombo Society collection (1796-1956) consists of minutes, financial records, blue prints, land transaction documents, and artifacts. The Cristoforo Colombo Society was organized in Wilmington, Delaware, in 1909. The group became OSIA Cristoforo Colombo Lodge No. 1125 in 1927. Records include ledge meeting minutes (1935-1956), ledgers on membership dues collected (1935-1956), financial records (1949-1956), and sickness and death benefits paid to members (1937-1954). Other records include by-law and ritual books (1928), banking records (1930-1956), and Delware Grand Lodge by-laws, along with records of the lodge hall, which was purchased in 1928. Original transaction documents from 1796 and the 1850s are also included, as well as blue prints for alterations (1947), and rental records (1949-1952).Artifacts include officers' regalia and a paper stamp.
